How do I create a new .env file?

Click “New file…” at the bottom of the environment file list in the sidebar. Pick a filename and choose Blank or From Template. Template mode uses .env.example as a basis if there’s one knocking about — otherwise it generates keys from the frameworks and packages Dotvault has detected in the project.
